About the Circle
The Circle of Huntington Hospital was founded in 1991 and is a nonprofit auxiliary of Huntington Hospital in Pasadena, California. The Circle is comprised of women from Pasadena, San Marino and other nearby cities whose efforts have raised more than $1 million for Huntington Hospital. Currently, the Circle is directing its support to assist the Constance G. Zahorik Breast Center at Huntington Hospital. Opened in 1999, the Breast Center is a medical facility dedicated to help women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer.
The Circle also supports the Huntington Appearance Center, which provides a compassionate, private setting for men and women who are undergoing cancer-related treatments. The Huntington Appearance Center offers a selection of hats, scarves, and turbans, assistance with wig, mustache, and beard selection, hair styling, and skin-care products to assist patients through all phases of cancer treatment. Funds raised by the Circle also aid in the purchase of state-of-the-art equipment to detect and treat breast cancer.
